Paul Hornung was an American football player who started his career in 1955.
After graduating from Notre Dame with a degree in business, Hornung was the first selection overall in the 1957 NFL Draft. He was taken by the Green Bay Packers, with whom he went on to win four league championships, including the first Super Bowl in January 1967.
As a professional, he played the halfback position as well as field goal kicker for several seasons.
During the 1960 season, the last with just 12 games, he set an all-time record by scoring 176 points.
