Mario Gomez is a German professional football player.
His main and rather the only source of income is a professional career as a footballer which brings him great profits.
In 1990, Gomez signed on to play youth soccer with SV Unlingen. Later, he played for the VfB Stuttgart, SSV Ulm 1846, and FV Bad Saulgau.
Before joining VfB Stuttgart, he was called up to the main team from VfB Stuttgart II in 2003. He won a championship in 2006–07 with Stuttgart and was awarded the German Footballer of the Year with 14 goals and seven assists.
Gomez joined Bayern Munich in 2009 after signing a record transfer contract worth $30 to $35 million Euro (depending on sources).
He signed a four-year contract with Florentina in Serie A in July 2013 for almost $20 million Euro. Gomez is a striker who also represents Germany internationally.
Gomez has played for Germany's Under-15, Under-17, Under-18, Under-19, Under-20, and Under-21 teams since 1999.
He missed the 2014 FIFA World Cup-winning Germany team due to injury, but he did win a bronze medal at the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
